It’s Business, And It’s Personal

Radio Spot: Seatbelts Save Lives

Those other drivers – you’ve seen them… They’re texting, putting on makeup, chatting on their cell phones – drifting out of their lane, going through red lights…

It’s frustrating and scary – And there’s nothing you can do about it.

You can’t control what other drivers do, but you can protect yourself. Start by buckling up–every time you get in a vehicle.

Wearing a seatbelt reduces the chance of a fatal injury by 45 percent. This simple safety device saves thousands of lives in the U.S. every year. Unfortunately, one in five Americans fail to buckle up regularly when driving or riding in a vehicle.

It’s simple, and it’s something you can control. So buckle up, and make sure your passengers do, too.
