Attorney Rebecca Britton Receives Becton Teaching Award

FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Attorney Rebecca J. Britton of Britton Law, received the Charles L. Becton Teaching Award for excellence in teaching trial advocacy by the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ) during the NCAJ fall seminar on October 14 at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville.

Britton was recognized for her work with the NCAJ High School Mock Trial program as a team coach at Westover High School (1995 to 2000) and for her service as Vice President of the Carolina Center for Civic Education that now operates the statewide program. She also received recognition for teaching at Campbell University School of Law, as well as teaching continuing legal education courses around the state and teaching with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
